The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential coaching, counselling, and well-being service paid for by the employer on behalf of their employees.
Through the EAP, employees can get help with:
- Pro-actively managing their health and well-being
- Counselling to manage issues in their life – work related or otherwise
Managers may also recommend the EAP to employees they identify as not coping or needing assistance – although the decision is ultimately up to the employee.

- Stress, anxiety, and depression
- Crisis and trauma
- Addictions
- Managing life stages
- Family and relationship issues
